Fall 2020

For the Originals–past, present, future. A joyful celebration of craft and pop culture, where the off-beat charm
of art house collides with the authority of our heritage. Featuring the work of Jean-Michel Basquiat.

The Collaboration

An original Original. The work of artist Jean-Michel Basquiat features
throughout the collection. “Basquiat is the ultimate cultural icon and a symbol of the unorthodox creativity that is nurtured in a place like
New York,” says Coach Creative Director, Stuart Vevers.

The Performance

Punk rock/garage band The Coathangers are joined by surprise guest, Blondie frontwoman Debbie Harry–a friend of Coach and icon of
New York’s New Wave scene.

The Originals

Heritage for the next wave: Kiko Mizuhara, Kaia Gerber, Adut Akech,
Leon Dame and more walk the runway in Stuart Vever’s latest collection for Coach.

Coachies Assembled

Color. Pop. Pose. Michael B. Jordan, Megan Thee Stallion, Kōki, Quincy Brown and Debbie Harry, get into portrait mode in our special studio at the show venue.

Photographs by Alessandro Simonetti. Illustrations by Jason Naylor.

The Looks

“For fall, I imagined a group of creatives, living and hanging
out in New York. Unpretentious, authentic––their style is collaged,
individual and in sync with their lives.”
— Coach Creative Director, Stuart Vevers

Inspired by the 24/7 New York lifestyle, flat-flat shoes and CitySole sneakers
have a down-to-earth ease.

The bags continue our archival story, introduced last spring. Fall’s new take?
Unexpected, stackable geometry.

Fall’s shearling is patchworked, artfully pieced together, and oh-so strokeable.

First introduced to Coach in the 1960s by Bonnie Cashin, Legacy Stripe is
reintroduced with a new youthful attitude for Fall 2020. In bold primary
colors, it nods to the raw energy of New Wave.

Spring 2020

The start of a decade. Urgency, optimism and the raw energy of a new
New Wave. With New York’s High Line park as the backdrop, Spring 2020
is a bright collision of past and present–in the city that inspired it.

Fall 2019

A mash-up of joyful defiance and free-spirited grit. A kaleidoscopic
world where familiar becomes unfamiliar. The dress codes of subculture,
dismantled and reassembled—dipped in psychedelia.
